Robert Turner is a self-taught photographer, born in 1988 in a small town on the England/Wales border. His work explores emotional and introspective dimensions. Although diaristic by nature, he plays with fact and fiction by using poetic language. His curiosity for subjective truths raises more questions than answers. By using analogue techniques he attempts to blur narrative to emphasise feeling. His encounters are realised through a language of gestures responding to the fleeting nature of existence, memory, and place.
